Jass is a traditional Swiss card game that plays a significant role in Swiss culture. Since its original design the game exclusively features male characters. I thought it was important to attempt to create a more inclusive version and as a result redesigned the deck with characters that vary in sex, skin tone, body shape and hairstyle. After releasing the set, the discussion around inclusivity in Jass brought media attention to my cardset.
